A fantastic opportunity had arisen at Woodpecker Hall Academy for a forward-thinking, dynamic class teacher who will also lead on a key area of school focus (SEND). This is a class-based position with regular release time to ensure you have impact on school improvement. We are continuing to grow our SEND team and are now looking to appoint an additional SEND teacher to support the needs of SEND pupils across the school. The successful candidate will work collaboratively within our SEND team to further enhance our SEND provision and ensure SEND children receive the highest quality of education.

 

We are looking to recruit a great teacher who has a passion for developing high quality teaching and learning, believes in sharing best practice and has the ability to inspire and motivate others. You must have good knowledge of Special Educational Needs, a high level of interest in helping others develop SEND provision and have some experience of working with SEND children.

 

The school is also committed to your professional development. You will have ongoing support from the senior leadership team and will attend appropriate training and development opportunities. You will be given support, time and space to grow as a leader and to further improve our SEND provision across the school.
