Are you a passionate, inclusive educator committed to helping every child thrive? We are seeking a dedicated SEND Teacher/Instructor to join our supportive and values‑driven school community.
In this rewarding role, you will deliver high‑quality, personalised teaching that enables pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities to flourish academically, socially and emotionally. You’ll work within structured, nurturing environments and use evidence‑based, needs‑led approaches to create meaningful learning experiences tailored to each individual.
You will play a key role in planning and delivering an adapted curriculum, supporting pupil wellbeing and regulation, contributing to EHCP processes, and working collaboratively with families, therapists and colleagues. Strong relationships, inclusive communication and a commitment to equity, diversity and pupil voice are at the heart of everything we do.
We offer a highly collaborative team, a strong commitment to professional development, and the opportunity to make a real and positive impact on pupils’ lives.
If you believe in inclusive education, celebrate diversity and are motivated by improving life outcomes for young people with SEND, we would love to hear from you.
Why Join Elms Bank School

We are looking for a colleague who shares the clear vision that the child is at the heart of everything we do. One who can enjoy positive, professional relationships with young people and who demonstrates high levels of resilience and emotional intelligence. Every child is entitled to an outstanding education where they have excellent opportunities to achieve beyond their potential. We strive to develop the aspirations and values of every student and member of staff.
