Sir Tom Finney Community High School is a generic secondary special school (11-19) in Preston admitting a wide range of students with special educational needs and disabilities from across the full continuum of learning and additional needs.  

We are looking for 3 permanent Teachers from September 2019 following the retirement of long-standing members of staff. Preferred subject specialism includes Maths, PSHE/SRE, Food technology and RE with an expectation that the appointed persons would co-ordinate and lead in one or more of these subject areas across school. Furthermore, all our Teachers are expected to support and deliver the teaching of other subject areas across the school.  

Other specialist criteria include an interest in a continuous provision delivery model; SLD/PMLD; MSI, HI and VI.

Successful applicants would need to be innovative, passionate and creative with a strong personality to lead the further developments in their curriculum area and must demonstrate a commitment to the school ethos, vision and values moving forward.
