Kajonkiet International School, Phuket (KIS) is a co-educational day school for children aged 2-18 years. The school which is situated within 52 rai of spectacular Kathu countryside follows the National Curriculum of England.

With ambitions to become one of the region’s top-performing schools providing an exhilarating international education, we are seeking to appoint a highly motivated, enthusiastic and dedicated Teacher of SEND for the Academic Year 2023/24, who would like to be part of this exciting project.

The successful candidate will possess a pioneering spirit and have experience in special education needs, inclusion and achievement, ideally in a K-12 school setting. They will be an empathetic teacher, able to work across key stages and confident in working with pupils of different ages, who will design and deliver bespoke learning programmes to pupils on an individual basis, supporting them with particular needs, skills and/or subject areas.

They will be able to identify and adopt the most effective teaching approaches for students with learning support needs, and be passionate in ensuring students are provided with the environment and opportunities to succeed.

Kajonkiet International School Phuket (KIS) opened in March 2011. We are a private co-educational international school using the National Curriculum for England and Wales (British Curriculum). We currently accept children from 2-18 years of age and from both the international and Thai communities. We have a great mix of nationalities and we are very proud of our small but strong community.
