Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), recent teaching experience and we must be able to obtain a school performance reference.

Vision for Education is seeking to appoint a qualified Teacher to join our successful supply teaching team and work in a local special school based in Scunthorpe as a SEND Teacher. The SEND Teacher role is due to start immediately on an ad hoc basis with the possibility of longer term roles for the right candidate.

The role:

The desired SEND Teacher will be teaching SEND pupils with a wide range of statements and ability levels. Previous experience working in a special needs setting is not essential but could be beneficial.  This SEND Teacher role would be ideal for a newly qualified teacher seeking their first post or equally an experienced teacher interested in developing their career.

Requirements:

To be considered for the position of SEND Teacher you will:

• Hold Qualified Teaching Status (QTS).

• Have some knowledge or previous experience of SEND

• Be adaptable and flexible

• Have a genuine desire to become part of a committed team of school staff
