Penn Hall School is a very special school for 110 children and young people aged 3 -19 years with a range of special educational needs and disabilities.  We are proud of our warm and caring ethos and of the way in which we know each pupil and family so well.

We are looking for a highly skilled classroom teacher to join our dedicated staff team.

The successful candidate will:

•  be enthusiastic with the drive to ensure that our learners develop and reach their full potential
• have experience of working with learners with complex special educational needs including ASD and SLD
• be a highly skilled classroom practitioner, able to devise  engaging and effective learning opportunities linked to each learner’s Education, Health and Care Plan
• be committed to a ‘total communication ‘ approach
• have a positive ‘can do’ attitude which they communicate through all that they do
• have high expectations of themselves and their pupils
• be keen to help to shape our curriculum by leading on the development  of a specific area
