Rhyl is a friendly and very supportive school with a high number of children who have complex SEND and we are very proud of our excellent reputation for Inclusion. Our success is due to the hard work and commitment of all of our staff team and we provide training and professional development opportunities to enable support staff to fulfil their role to a very high standard.

The role will require candidates to provide 1:1 and small group support for children with complex and medical needs in our school.

The school is part of a partnership with 4 other schools and there may be opportunities for successful candidates to work in different partnership schools. This will be discussed at interview.

Rhyl Community Primary School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. In line with KCSIE 2023 and safer recruitment practices, the school will conduct an online search for all shortlisted candidates. The online search is part of our safeguarding checks and the search is purely about a candidate’s suitability to work with children.
