Teaching Assistants to support SEND

To start 3 June 2024

Fixed Term Contract to 31 August 2025

30 hours per week, term time only

Scale 3 (£29,973 - £30,136 pro rata)

We are looking for enthusiastic and committed individuals who would like to join our friendly team. You will play an important role in raising the achievement of our children. Candidates should be well-motivated and have a calm manner.

 Rhyl is a friendly and very supportive school with a high number of children who have complex SEND and we are very proud of our excellent reputation for Inclusion. Our success is due to the hard work and commitment of all of our staff team and we provide training and professional development opportunities to enable support staff to fulfil their role to a very high standard.

The successful candidates will have had experience of working with pupils with language and communication needs and experience of using strategies to support autism or communication and language needs. The role will require candidates to provide 1:1 and small group support for children with complex and medical needs in our school.

The school is part of a partnership with 4 other schools and there may be opportunities for successful candidates to work in different partnership schools. This will be discussed at interview.
