An outstanding special day school that caters for students aged between 11 and 19 years are actively seeking to recruit an SEND Teaching Assistant to support students who have a range of learning difficulties, including moderate and severe learning difficulties, autism spectrum disorders, profound and complex needs.   

The ideal SEND Teaching Assistant will be creative, passionate and highly motivated. You must hold a minimum of a Level 2 Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools and ideally have good knowledge of working with SEND pupils. The SEND Teaching Assistant role will vary in tasks day to day but ultimately you will offer learning support to students across KS3 and KS4. You will offer support to keep learners focused and enriched through learning.   

This SEND Teaching Assistant role would be the perfect opportunity for an experience Teaching Assistant to develop their career in a supportive school. You will work alongside classroom teachers and be required to deliver exceptional learning support in order to give the best possible learning experience.
