Job overview

ABC teachers are currently looking to recruit an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant on behalf of an outstanding SEN school in Loughborough.

This school supports students with a variety of needs, primarily Autism and MLD. The appointed candidate will work 1:1 and in small groups with pupils, where the role will begin in September 2020 and be on an ongoing basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing school and play an important part in its development.

We are looking for a dedicated Teaching Assistant who has previous experience supporting pupils or individuals with Special Educational Needs. The ideal candidate will have further training in behavioural management and be able to build rapport with children and colleagues.

Requirements:

We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expect all staff to share this commitment. All staff must hold an enhanced DBS disclosure which must also be registered to the Update Service (or be prepared to allow us to process one for you), need to provide professional or academic references and attend a face to face interview. A prohibition from teaching check will be completed for all applicants.
