The Opportunity

As SENDCo at Millennium, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the school’s inclusive culture and ensuring that pupils with SEND thrive academically, socially and emotionally.

Working closely with the Head of School and leadership team, you will provide strategic direction and day-to-day leadership of SEND provision, ensuring high-quality support is embedded across classrooms and interventions. This role offers the opportunity to:

  • Lead and develop SEND provision across a diverse, ambitious primary school

  • Shape inclusive practice and contribute to whole-school improvement

  • Work collaboratively with staff, families and multi-agency partners

  • Use data and insight to evaluate impact and drive improvement

  • Support pupils’ access to the full curriculum and wider school life

  • Develop and lead staff through coaching, CPD and collaboration

You will be trusted as a key leader of inclusion at Millennium, with the opportunity to make a real and lasting difference.

Who You Are

We are looking for a SENDCo who is:

  • A qualified teacher with QTS

  • Holds, or is working towards, the National Award for SEN Coordination

  • Passionate about inclusive education and equity

  • Strategic, organised and reflective in their practice

  • Confident in building positive relationships with pupils, staff and families

  • An excellent practitioner who can influence and support others

  • Ambitious for pupils with SEND and for whole-school inclusion
