Required for February 2020 (Maternity Cover)

Fixed Term Contract – End of July 2020

Salary – Main scale with TLR2A/B depending on experience and training

We are looking to appoint an outstanding teacher who is committed to the achievement of ALL our children.

Ideally the candidate will have completed the National Award for SENDCOs.

The post is non-class based with a 0.5 teaching commitment.

You will work closely with the English & Maths subject leaders to secure quality first teaching and with the learning support staff to design, deliver and evaluate targeted interventions.

You will assist in the promotion, direction and oversight of high standards of teaching and learning, pupil achievement and progression through effective inclusion for pupils with special educational needs, ethnic minority, disabilities and more able pupils.

The SENDCO will have oversight of IEPs, EHCPs and SEND colleagues who come to work with children in the school.
