Northampton School for Girls (NSG) is a state-funded, comprehensive school on the outskirts of Northampton. Our school community is multi-faith and multi-cultural with students coming from rural and urban settings. We continue to be one of the best schools in Northamptonshire, and this is reflected in the high standards and expectations we set for both staff and students.

At NSG, you will have access to an outstanding CPD programme, which will enable you to continue to develop and grow as both an excellent teacher and leader. In return, we expect that you will have strong subject knowledge and the ability to provide high-quality teaching; you will be a like-minded individual who will promote our ethos of respect and inclusion for all.

We seek high-quality applications from a wide spectrum of talented people, acknowledging that diversity in our staffing enriches our NSG community and the learning experience for our students. We are working to create an inclusive culture where people can be themselves and are empowered to do their best.

If you have any questions, please email us: people@nsg.northants.sch.uk

For further information, please visit: www.nsg.northants.sch.uk/vacancies/

Applications are accepted via the school application form (available on the vacancies page) or via TES QuickApply. Please contact the school if you need to request the application form in an alternative format.

Closing date: 9am on Friday 19th April 2024

We would encourage you to submit your application as soon as you are able as we reserve the right to act on received applications before the closing date has passed.

The school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff to share this commitment.

The successful applicant will be expected to undertake a criminal records check, via the Disclosure & Barring Service, the cost of which will be met by NSG. Details of our safer recruitment policy can be found in the school policies section of our website.

Shortlisted candidates who accept our invitation to interview may be subject to an online search conducted by the school, as recommended by KCSIE 2023. This will not affect the shortlisting process, and there will be the opportunity at interview to address any issues of concern that come up during the search.
