This is a demanding but deeply rewarding role, requiring a professional who is both strategic and compassionate. This role will suit a SENDCo who understands the realities of the position and is motivated by impact, advocacy and improving life chances for children with SEND.
We are looking for a SEND Champion who:

Is brave, resilient and solution focused, able to navigate challenge, complexity and competing pressures
Is experienced in working closely with parents, building strong, trusting partnerships – even in difficult circumstances
Can work effectively with a wide range of external agencies and professionals
Has a strong understanding of SEND funding, and can advise strategically on the effective use of resources
Is confident in lone working, managing a high level of administration, paperwork and statutory processes with accuracy and professionalism
Has a secure understanding of data and assessment, and knows how to use this to drive progress and improve outcomes
Has excellent organisational skills and a positive, pragmatic ‘can do’ attitude
Is an excellent communicator, able to influence, support and challenge appropriately
Is adaptable and excited by opportunities for collaboration within a Primary MAT
In return, we offer:
The chance to work within a strong, caring and committed staff team who value inclusion
The opportunity to undertake the National SENDCo Qualification (NASENCO)

Enthusiastic, well-behaved and motivated pupils who are a joy to work with
An extremely engaged and supportive community
A warm, contemporary working environment set in a beautiful location
