About Warlingham Village Primary School

We are a one-form entry village primary school situated close to the centre of Warlingham Village, Surrey, a few miles to the south of Croydon. We have an average of 210 pupils on roll, housed in a traditional Edwardian building.

At Warlingham Village Primary School,  we are not only concerned with the child’s intellectual development, but also with the development of their social and moral attitudes and their physical, emotional and personal well-being. Every member of staff, whether teaching or non-teaching, plays a vital role here. We believe that children achieve most within a positive environment and therefore seek to give praise, encouragement and reward whenever possible. We encourage children to become independent learners, self-disciplined, and to take on areas of responsibility.

On 1st September 2013, we were proud to become an academy member of GLF Schools, a community of schools committed to giving children the best teaching and greatest opportunities. Whilst keeping our unique identity, being part of this academy group has enabled Warlingham Village Primary School to complete its journey from ‘good’ to ‘outstanding’.
