Values and Vision
The school motto is "Brilliance in every child. Excellence every day". Hillyfield values respect, responsibility and good behaviour in its students, helping to create a positive and welcoming atmosphere. The curriculum is tailored towards giving children valuable formative experiences that will shape their later childhood. Staff encourage children to become critical, independent thinkers.
Art is a focus of the school, and an activity which the children can greatly enjoy. Hillyfield is also a registered Sing Up school, which gives it access to resources aimed at improving and maintaining vocal performance among pupils.
Ofsted
"Pupils thrive in this kind and welcoming school. They are excited to learn and are extremely happy. Although this is a large school split between two sites, there is a strong sense of community. Staff know the pupils well and working relationships are extremely positive."
