Forest House School are now looking for an experienced, highly efficient and organised Senior Administrator to join our dedicated team. The role involves:

  • Answering phone calls, greeting visitors, arranging meetings and general administrative duties such as typing, filing and liaising with colleagues. 
  • You must have excellent communication skills, have a good working knowledge of IT packages such as Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook, be proactive, professional and ready to smile - even when the going gets tough! 
  • You will be able to quickly adapt to company systems, have a good level of English and Maths, along with the ability to multitask. It is not essential you have experience working within a school environment, but solid administrative experience is a must.

Communication – Communicating with our young people is vital to understand their needs. Positive working relationships, teamwork and communication play a key part in ensuring important information is relayed to other staff.

Organisation –You will need to be confident and organised in general office duties, minute taking and handling student records.

Attentive – No two tasks are the same, so being attentive to greet all visitors, answering telephone calls, booking in appointments, as well as scheduling reviews with other professions.

Sketchley School provides specialist support for both boys and girls aged 8 to 19 years who are on the autistic spectrum, who may also have challenging behaviour, as a result of their communication difficulties and a lack of social understanding.

Located in the quiet villages of Sketchley in Leicestershire the school has excellent links with the M69/M6/M1 motorways and Hinckley train station.
