Cumbria is at the forefront of developing a system-led approach to education improvement. The Cumbria Alliance of System Leaders (CASL) is a dynamic alliance of educational partners from across Cumbria. It is an alliance in which the Local Authority is an essential and integral member.
We are looking to recruit an experienced, innovative and adaptable education improvement professional to join our team. If successful, you will have the opportunity to make a leading contribution, in collaboration with our partners, to the further development of a self-improving education system for the benefit of all children and young people in Cumbia. The role will also include the opportunity to work with multi-agency partners within a designated area to identify local solutions for children and families.
The successful applicant will:
- work with key CASL stakeholders involved in school improvement to further promote and develop a system-led collaborative partnership for Cumbria to improve outcomes for all, from Early Years to Post 16;
- develop a range of solutions that encourage collaboration and support sector-led school improvement;
- commission and quality assure school support and maximise the use of the strengths and resources available in the alliance;
- work closely with the Chair of the West Area Local Alliance of System Leaders (LASL) to identify schools, academies, settings and providers in need of support to improve;
- work with relevant Local Authority and CASL colleagues to ensure that statutory functions are met.
