Bow School is seeking to appoint an exceptional technician, with skills in both Art and Design and Technology, to join a faculty where creativity flourishes and innovation thrives.

As Senior Art & DT Technician, you will play a pivotal role in supporting teaching and learning across both departments. You will be responsible for maintaining a safe and efficient working environment, managing resources, and providing technical assistance to students and staff.  From preparing materials and equipment to overseeing practical sessions, your expertise will be essential in ensuring the smooth running of our Art and DT provision.

Key responsibilities are:

  • To prepare and set up materials, tools, and equipment for practical lessons and projects
  • Maintain and organise supplies, ensuring stock levels are sufficient and ordering new materials when necessary
  • Provide technical support and guidance to students during practical sessions
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, conducting risk assessments and implementing safety procedures
