Base: To be discussed at interview, regular travel across the Trust may be required, but many meetings can be held virtually

We are seeking to appoint an experienced, enthusiastic and inspirational individual to lead on all aspects of business services across multiple primary academies. Merlin Top Primary Academy is located in Bradford, The Ferns Primary Academy is located Bolton and Mount Pellon and Abbey Park Primary Academies are located in the Calderdale region. 

This is an exciting opportunity to promote the highest standards of business ethos across multiple sites and play a lead role as part of the senior leadership team.  Reporting to the Director of Business Services the successful applicant will have extensive experience across the key business services functions.

The role of Senior Business Manager is a key member of the senior leadership team who will work collaboratively with key colleagues to negotiate and influence strategic decision making.  It requires a highly motivated individual who can plan and manage change in accordance with the Trusts plans and procedures. You will be responsible for a broad range of complex services, including administration, the management of information systems and ICT, risk and critical incident management, transactional HR management, facility & property management and the health & safety management across multiple academies.

The ideal candidate will:

• Have 5 GCSEs, including English and maths at grade C or above (or equivalent)

• Hold a relevant degree level qualification or have demonstrable equivalent experience 

• Demonstrate evidence of continuous professional development and training

• Have experience leading, managing and monitoring a team of staff across multiple sites and have experience of managing academy administration, systems and processes over multiple sites

• Be committed to supporting the Trust’s agenda for safeguarding and equality and diversity, as well as the Trust’s values and ethos – we are outcomes focussed and child centred.
