An exciting opportunity has arisen for a senior business support officer who will work as part of a friendly team to deal with all aspects of administration within our outstanding school.

Thurstonland Endowed (VC) First School provides education for pupils aged 4-10 and is committed to making a difference to children’s lives, ensuring that all pupils have the best possible learning experience.

Working alongside the Head Teacher and Bursar we want to hear from you if you:

  • Are an enthusiastic and dynamic individual with excellent verbal, written and IT skills
  • Have sound experience of administration duties and customer care
  • Are able to work as part of a team in a flexible and professional manner
  • Possess excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to relate well to children, parents and other adults, both face to face and over the telephone
  • Are conscientious, efficient, honest, friendly and approachable
  • Are well-organised, able to multi-task and use your initiative to prioritise in order to meet deadlines whilst remaining calm under pressure
  • Would be willing to use your skills to support and enhance all aspects of school life.

We would particularly like to hear from you if you have previous experience of working in a school office and knowledge of Microsoft Office, however training will be provided to the successful applicant.
