Job overview

Ref: 16-17/CEN/005

With 31 academies in areas of social and economic deprivation, the Greenwood Academies Trust is a powerful force for change. We want to give every child the chance to succeed, whatever the obstacles, and we’re committed to innovation and best practice in everything we do.

We are looking to recruit a Senior Education Adviser and school improvement lead to work across the East Midlands supporting all secondary academies within the Trust.

Working with our Directors and the newly established Education Team, you’ll support, challenge and manage Principals across your region to drive improvement and transform the learning experience. It’s a unique challenge, requiring vision, diplomacy and the flexibility to think differently every day.

Your experiences will ensure you are skilled in driving change and deeply understand both the ethos and the practicalities of whole school improvement. Naturally, you’ll be adept at operating in challenging environments, aware of the issues facing children and teachers in deprived areas, and passionate about transforming results, careers and lives.

Put simply, our Principals and teachers are among the best, so we need truly exceptional people to take them - and us - to the next level. In return, we can offer unrivalled scope to make a difference, an excellent senior management package and a career that can take you anywhere you want to go.
