37 hours per week term time plus 10 days (annual leave can be taken during term time upon agreement with the headteacher)

Under the leadership of a new headteacher since January 2024, Golborne is excited to continue our journey to delivering a world-class education for our students and to become a beacon of excellence at the heart of the community. We are the lead school for Generate Teaching Hub and work together with our partners to deliver school to school support, exceptional CPD and early career framework structures.

We are looking to appoint a Senior Examinations Officer to deliver an excellent exams administration service. The successful applicant, with the support of a part-time Examinations Officer, will co-ordinate the efficient running and administration of internal and external examinations to include producing whole school and individual pupil timetables, submitting accurate exam entries with awarding bodies and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations. You will be responsible for recruiting and managing a pool of exam invigilators and liaise with these in preparation for exams.

You should have a minimum of 3 GCSEs, including English and Maths, or equivalent level in a relevant qualification. You should have strong ICT, organization and communication skills and be able to work flexibly and meticulously to produce accurate work within set deadlines.
