GRADE 4 - 36.5 HOURS PER WEEK DURING TERM TIME ONLY
SALARY £27,741 - £34,728 PRO RATA (ACTUAL SALARY RANGE £24,784 - £31,730)
We are looking to appoint an outstanding professional into a new and exciting role, providing exceptional Early Help and effective support for children and families as part of our safeguarding provision and pastoral support offer. The successful candidate will oversee all significant needs cases, attend associated meetings and ensure support is timely and impactful for the child and the family. In addition, the successful candidate will have the knowledge and skills to support children and their families to overcome significant barriers to learning including the initiation and coordination of wrap around services to support children/ families in crisis.
The successful candidate will be an outstanding practitioner with:
- Qualified Social Worker status
- Experience of working in a fast-paced role, overseeing multiple children/families
- Excellent prioritisation skills and ability to manage a busy workload
- High standards of written and verbal communication, commensurate to a professional environment
- A meticulous attention to detail
- A proactive attitude and determination, including wider reading to enhance own and others’ knowledge and skills
- A driving ambition to make a difference to every child and family.
