SENIOR INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY TEACHER

Trinity Anglican School (TAS) is located in Cairns, Far North Queensland.  Founded in 1983, TAS is a highly regarded independent school based on Christian beliefs with a school community that values diversity and achieves excellent academic results.

The successful applicant will:  

• hold a suitable tertiary teaching qualification 

• be suitably experienced and competent in teaching up to Y12 IT subjects 

• have strong knowledge of contemporary teaching approaches in the area of thinking and digital learning 

• develop, implement and teach the Digital Technology Australian Curriculum focussing in areas such as robotics, coding, game programming, app creation etc. 

• provide feedback and professional support to improve individual student learning   outcomes 

• be student focussed, enthusiastic and have exceptional communication skills
