Job overview

We are looking to appoint a highly motivated and dynamic Senior Learning Mentor to join our pastoral team.

You should have a proven track record of creating, leading and developing a variety of programmes to raise attendance, achievement and self esteem of students and of successful whole school interventions working with individuals and groups across all key stages. You should be committed to working with a range of students from a wide range of ethnic and social backgrounds to remove barriers to learning.

The successful candidate will have a good working knowledge of the Early Help system and will lead and manage a team of learning mentors to ensure our pupils are effectively supported in order to make the best possible progress. Experience of safeguarding and Designated Safeguarding Lead training is an integral part of the role, and training will be provided for the successful candidate.

This post is covered by Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) and therefore the ability to speak fluent spoken English is an essential requirement for this role.
