Senior Manager Intervention and Support

About the Role

We believe all children and young people in East Sussex deserve the chance to reach their full potential and we’re looking for a new Senior Manager: Intervention & Support to help us achieve our vision.
This is a key role in the Inclusion Special Educational Needs & Disability (ISEND) Service in Children's Services. You will lead our early intervention education support services to ensure a comprehensive range of high quality support is available and provided to children, young people and their families, across a range of settings and through effective inter-agency working in order to support statutory Special Educational Needs and Disability (SEND) processes.

You will also lead on development of inclusive practice across our schools, particularly in the areas of Early Years, behaviour, attendance, speech, language, communication and autism. You will ensure the services you lead work collaboratively to promote inclusion and reduce reliance on statutory processes through the delivery of early intervention to schools, on a core and traded basis.

This is an exciting opportunity to improve outcomes for children and families and make a real difference. We are looking for an experienced and passionate person who has experience of senior leadership within a school and has a strong track record of driving and delivering improvements at both strategic and operational levels.
