You are invited to apply for the post of Senior Manager for the Research Excellence Support Team in the Faculty of Wellbeing, Education and Language Studies. Working with the faculty’s Associate Dean (Research Excellence) and colleagues who have responsibility for research and scholarship of learning and teaching in the three schools, you will lead the Faculty's Research Support Team, supporting the development of strategy across research and scholarship activities, and operationalising strategy to achieve the highest levels of service. In doing so you will enhance the faculty's reputation in its field and maximise the impact of our work, as preparations for REF2021 get underway.
You will have excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills, outstanding skills in project management, as well as the capability to inspire your team to succeed.
You will have a high level of numeracy and proven capabilities in the management of complex budgets and be able to develop effective systems and processes.
