Senior Mathematics Teacher

Smart Teachers is recruiting for a Mathematics Teacher to join a highly reputable Independent, multi-campus school. This position is a 12-month contract and would be ideally suited to someone who is seeking a more long-term change. Our client schools campuses are located in Australia and China. This role is for the China campus, situated in a province close to Shanghai. This opportunity presents excellent working conditions and assistance with relocation and travel costs may be available.

• Full-time contract for a minimum 12 months

About the Location:

Our client school is multi-campus, with locations in Australia and China. This role is for the China campus, situated 4 hours’ drive from Shanghai, in a coastal location. The province is well known for its culture, music and popular beaches.

About You:

In order to be considered for this role you will need to meet the following criteria;

• Be eligible to work in Australia (see if you qualify for a visa here)
• Possess the minimum relevant tertiary qualifications– Bachelor of Education/ PGCE / or equivalent teaching degree
• Must be registered or eligible for registration with the Victorian Institute of Teachers
• Be willing to contribute to co-curricular life and the school community
• Must be respectful of the school values and ethos
• Possess and provide appropriate reference details and police clearances
