Senior MIS Data Officer 

The Timetabling and Student Data team, based at our Wakefield city centre campus, provide an important function which underpins the College’s funding and success rates. 

As a Senior MIS Data Officer, you will work with your team to ensure the efficient allocation of resources for student timetables and the accuracy of student data for funding returns and management information. 

Working closely with the Timetabling and Student Data Manager, you will:

  • support the Timetabling and Student Data Systems Manager in ensuring timetables, enrolments, registers and student data amendments are processed in a timely and accurate manner to meet funding and audit requirements.
  • provide professional support and guidance to curriculum areas in planning timetables to ensure College resources are utilised effectively and efficiently in compliance with course footprints and funding requirements.
  • take a lead role in the development and streamlining of timetabling and student data systems and processes to ensure the accuracy and integrity of College data in line with changes to funding and audit requirements.

As a Senior MIS Data Officer, you will line manage and motivate your team to process often complex data on a daily basis. Therefore, you should only consider applying if you have previous experience of working with management information data and systems.

In addition, you should be educated to a Degree level standard, have a minimum GCSE Level A*- C / 9 - 4 or equivalent in English and Maths. You should also be systems/process driven, used to inputting and extracting computer data and be able to demonstrate:

  • Accurate data input skills and a keen eye for detail
  • Experience of interpreting complex rules and procedures, to support problem solving
