This is an opportunity for a qualified and experienced registered nurse to play a key role managing the medical centre and ensuring the provision of high-quality nursing care to the pupils of one of the leading boarding schools in Britain. 

The Senior Nurse and Medical Centre Manager is an active member of the nursing team, giving a strong clinical lead by seeing pupils every day and actively collaborating with boarding staff and parents to promote pupil physical and mental wellbeing. 

They are responsible for the Medical Centre and will lead a team of seven nurses and a Medical Centre Assistant. They are supported by a Deputy Senior Nurse and also have oversight of the counselling and physiotherapy services offered by the school.

The ideal candidate will require considerable nursing experience, with experience in a leadership and management position or equivalent. Effective written and verbal communication skills, the ability to work under pressure and develop positive relationships with colleagues and young people is equally important.
