Senior Nurse

From September 2019

Term time only plus 3 weeks, totaling 37 weeks per year.

We are looking for a Registered School Nurse who will have sympathy with, and give support to, the educational aims and Quaker ethos of the School.  You will lead and manage a well-established team of committed and professional nurses in the provision of first aid and nursing services to students, staff and visitor including developing and implementing a healthy lifestyles strategy across the School community.  Working in co-operation with the School Doctors according to agreed policies and protocols, you will plan and deliver access arrangements for nursing consultation, care and referral.   Our Senior Nurse will also contribute to the organisation of the Health Centre and the part it plays in meeting the health care needs of the population which may involve an on-call and emergency call service out of normal working hours, i.e. evenings, nights and weekends on a shared rota basis.
