We require a Senior Nursing Officer to take responsibility for the efficient, effective and sympathetic running of the Medical Centre and associated medical services.
The role operates on a shift system, providing a first-class service within Nursing & Midwifery Council (NMC) guidelines to pupils, members of staff and visitors to the Medical Centre, working term-time only.
Working hours are approximately 46.5 hours per week, according to service needs. Accommodation is provided as the SNO will be required to be on-call or contactable throughout term-time.
Candidates will need to be flexible, with good communication skills and the confidence to manage a team of professionals. Experience of working at senior level and managing other professionals is essential, experience of working in a school is desirable.
