At The Hayfield School our pupils engage with their learning and they thrive on challenge. We would like to appoint a talented and committed Senior Officer to support and develop the behaviour management strategy within school and to work with students whose behaviour impacts on their attainment and progress. The ideal person will be confident, emotionally intelligent, have excellent interpersonal skills and be a persuasive communicator. The successful candidate will be innovative and proactive with the ability to respond to day-to-day behaviour issues and to remain calm in challenging situations. A working knowledge of SIMS would be an advantage for this post. At Hayfield School we have the highest expectations of our students and this post has been created to develop outstanding behaviour across the school. Above all you must be relentlessly passionate about the development of pupils and the removal of barriers to allow each individual to reach their full potential. The Hayfield School is a great place to work where all colleagues are supported and valued, parents are supportive and the pupils are so eager to achieve. We do have a track record of excellent outcomes but we are not resting on our laurels. Indeed we are embracing a changing educational landscape.

The school is situated in Auckley near Robin Hood Airport. It is a lovely part of Doncaster and really easy to get to and from. Our staff come from as far away as North Leeds, Sheffield, Scunthorpe and Nottinghamshire.  It really is worth the journey.

If you are interested in applying please complete an application form online via the TES website. You are very welcome to visit the school before you apply and find out if you think you would fit in.

Please contact our HR Manager, Paula Kynman, 01302 770579, pky@thehayfieldschool.co.uk.

We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of our students and an Enhanced DBS check will be required for this post.  We aim for diversity within our workforce.
