Job overview

We are looking for someone who is a strong communicator and can represent the Trust in a professional and confident manner when engaging with all relevant pension providers and stakeholders.

The successful candidate must have excellent pensions experience and be driven to develop and deliver a first-class pensions service for The Trust in terms of ensuring employees’ pension deductions are accurate and all reporting requirements are delivered in accordance with the relevant rules and regulations, accurately and to deadline.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Pensions and Payroll Officer to join the expanding Prospect Trust, which currently encompasses The Sixth Form College Farnborough, Tomlinscote and Frimley Church of England Schools.

The position will be based in Frimley with some flexibility for home working allowed and will have full responsibility to oversee Pension Services whilst providing payroll support to the Finance Team.

Specific experience in dealing with The Teacher’s Pension and Hampshire & Surrey LGPS run schemes will be hugely beneficial but not essential as will consider applicants with strong pensions experience from other sectors.

Attention to detail is an absolute must as well as being able to work accurately and efficiently whilst achieving deadlines. The ability to manage workload and meet deadlines without compromising the quality of the information provided is absolutely essential. Strong excel skills are also essential as you will need to be confident with formulas and grouping, extracting and analysing large sets of data.

Please see the attached Job Description which provides a complete list of the responsibilities, tasks and experience required for this role. We would love to hear from you if you have the required skills and experience and want to work in a sector and team where you can truly make a difference to the lives of young people.

Interviews: TBC

Contract/Hours: Full Time post - flexibility for a four day week will also be considered
