  • Are you an experienced Programme Co-ordinator looking for your next challenge?
  • Are you interested in working for a progressive and constantly evolving organisation?
  • Are you passionate about improving outcomes for young people?

We’re looking for a Senior Programme Co-ordinator to help us develop our distinctive education offer to schools in the RSA Family of Academies.

RSA Academies is an education charity which aims to achieve the very best outcomes for children at a group of schools in the West Midlands. Our distinctive educational approach emphasises the arts and creativity, connections to the world beyond school, and inclusion and mental health alongside high academic standards.

You’ll show a commitment to the RSA’s mission. You will have strong organisational skills, the ability to work flexibility within a busy team environment and be willing to support colleagues with strong interpersonal skills, and the confidence and ability to communicate effectively. You’ll be an excellent time manager and multi-tasker with experience of working with young people.

What the role involves:

  • Lead on the Preparing for the World Beyond School Commitment, including the primary social action programme (RSA4), and communicate with strategic stakeholders to ensure effective delivery towards the Commitment.
  • Identify partnership and external funding opportunities, prepare bids for external funding to support agreed areas of work and contribute ideas for new ways to involve schools with other work in the RSA or with RSA Fellows.
  • Act as key contact point for the careers and student leadership (RSA8) co-ordinator to secure effective delivery of these projects.
  • Collate a range of information from schools within the Family or other sources and prepare and present reports to the RSA Academies Board and other groups.
  • Set up and manage systems to track and evaluate the impact of projects and events initiated by the RSA Family of Academies.
  • Organise and lead a programme of events for staff and students from the RSA Family of Academies including induction events for new staff and visits by school groups.

The RSA combines thought leadership with civic innovation to further human progress. Building on our 260 year history as a beacon for enlightenment values, the RSA is currently at an exciting period in its history. We provide platforms for leading experts through the UK’s most ambitious free public lecture series, our projects generate new models for tackling the social challenges of today and we are building on our network of over 29,000 Fellows around the world – these are achievers and influencers from every field with a real commitment to progressive and social change.

We offer great benefits, including 29 days holiday (plus bank holidays), additional wellbeing allowance, free fellowship throughout employment and lots more!
