Brooksby Melton College is a specialist vocational Further and Higher Education provider in Leicestershire, spread across two main campuses – one in the heart of the lively market town of Melton Mowbray and the other on an 850-acre estate at Brooksby.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for two residential wardens to be based at our Brooksby Campus
The Senior Residential Warden will supervise the work of Residential Wardens and other Accommodation Team members, and lead the service delivery in relation to national residential standards. For the senior post managerial experience of leading a team within a residential setting would be advantageous, and experience of working to CQC guidelines, relevant legislation and professional regulations.
The successful applicants will ensure the College is compliant with CQC / regulatory requirements and that all service development targets are met, being responsible for the provision of a high-quality service, both in respect of student care and engagement.
Post holders will ensure that welfare/pastoral support meets appropriate residential care standards, establishing effective dialogue with residential students through systems for consultation, representation and complaints and organise social events and other enrichment activities for residential students.
This role is annualised hours, therefore the pattern of hours to be worked will vary throughout the year, however a schedule will be provided. It is a requirement of the post to live on site in College Accommodation ensuring emergency cover is in place at all times when students are in residence
