We are seeking to appoint a self-motivated Housemistress who can combine creativity with enthusiasm and experience to run the newly refurbished Year 13 Boarding House. This position offers an excellent opportunity to establish the relaunch of a dedicated Year 13 Transition House. The position enables you to support Year 13 boarders with their academic and pastoral well-being as well as their personal development ensuring they are fully prepared for their next steps in life. This is a key role which offers the opportunity to be fully involved in the life of the School.


Boarding is at the heart of the MSJ ethos. The successful candidate must be an excellent communicator, approachable and with a proven ability to interact with others in a sensitive and caring manner. She must have first-class leadership and organisational skills to help take forward the boarding vision of the School. 

Due to the nature of the role within the boarding house, the successful candidate will be female.
