Dulwich College Seoul is a flourishing, high-performing school offering teachers a fantastic opportunity to work in a purpose built and well-resourced school in the heart of one of Asia’s most dynamic cities. The College currently has 650 students from 36 different nationalities across 6 continents, with over 250 of those studying in a three-form entry Key Stage 3 (Years 7-9) and a two-form entry Key Stage 4 (Years 10-13).
Applications are invited from outstanding practitioners keen to contribute comprehensively towards the College’s wellbeing agenda. This is a new appointment – the first time we have recruited a dedicated PSHE / wellbeing teacher – and an important re-direction of our resources towards delivering specialist guidance to students and support to all teachers. The successful candidate should be able to deliver an additional element within our wellbeing programme, such as the ability to offer pastoral or college counselling, lead a pastoral section of students, deliver specialist training (eg first aid, life-saving) or be a safeguarding lead. A leadership position at Assistant Head level may be available for a suitably experienced candidate.
The school offers an academic curriculum culminating in the IGCSE and the IB Diploma examination courses alongside a busy extra-curricular programme. Successful applicants will be highly resourceful, forward-thinking professionals, able to function successfully in small teams.
At least 4 years teaching experience is required in the U.K. or overseas regardless of nationality. All applicants should hold a Bachelor’s degree in Education, or a first degree plus a post-graduate qualification in education (i.e. PGCE, or equivalent).
