SENIOR SCIENCE TECHNICIAN
Permanent Position 37 hrs per week Term time only plus 15 days

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and well qualified candidate to join an
excellent, supportive and well-resourced department. You will work under the guidance of
teaching/senior staff to lead and manage the science technician team and provide a
comprehensive technician support service to staff and students undertaking the science
curriculum. Duties will include overseeing the general running of the science teaching and
preparation areas, managing departmental equipment and materials and maintaining
appropriate levels of stock. You will ensure the application of Health & Safety procedures
and raise awareness of H&S issues specifically in relation to laboratories.
