Required as soon as possible, a Senior Science Technician to work alongside our part-time Senior Science Technician.
The role is varied and will include preparing materials for classes from Year 7 through to Post 16, undertaking demonstrations, supporting science teachers and students in the classroom and being involved in our weekly after school science club.
This position would suit someone who has studied science to ‘A’ level standard or has a vocational qualification in science. Equally, a candidate who has completed a Laboratory Technician’s qualification would be ideally qualified to apply. It would also be beneficial if the successful candidate was familiar with Health & Safety (CLEAPSS).
You must be able to work on your own initiative, be methodical in your approach, plan ahead and be a good organiser.
