Job Title: Senior Science Technician
Salary: Grade E £25,878 FTE, £23,137 pro-rata salary
Hours: 1500 hours per annum over 39 weeks
Location: QE
We require as soon as possible, a permanent Senior Science Technician. The successful applicant will provide resources for experimental work at KS4 (ages 14-16) & KS5 (ages 16-19), be a good team worker who is well organised, have a working knowledge of science, have practical experience in a related area and a willingness to learn.
The successful applicant will lead our team of technicians. The technicians are part of the Science team who seek to enhance the quality of teaching and learning in the Department. A working knowledge of ICT is required in order to carry out a number of tasks.

About Queen Elizabeth's School
Queen Elizabeth’s is a mixed, mainstream, non-denominational, secondary day and boarding school in Crediton, Devon. The school caters to students aged 11 to 18 and has approximately 1,400 pupils enrolled.
Queen Elizabeth’s converted to academy status in April 2011. The school started as a grammar school, then became a boarding grammar for boys and girls, and is now the only state boarding school in Devon. It is part of the Teaching School Alliance.
