Senior Science Technician (H6)
36 hours per week, term time plus 10 days
(Pro rota full time equivalent of £27,471)
We are seeking to appoint a Science Laboratory Technician to prepare practical lessons for all classes including AS and A2 Science. The post involves co-ordinating the use and maintenance of the practical resources and facilities. A good understanding of laboratory conditions and related Health & Safety precautions is an essential requirement.
The Senior Science Technician will be responsible for day to day management of two Science technicians and have overall responsibility for ensuring that statutory safety regulations and safe practice are complied with.
Candidates must enjoy working as part of a team, be able to work under pressure, be attentive to detail and have good communication skills.
