Senior Science Technician (Maternity Cover) – required for February 2017 

36 hours per week, 39 weeks per year 

NJC Pay Scale 5: £22,284 - £24,267 (actual salary for hours worked: £19,057 - £20,752)  

We are seeking to appoint a Senior Science Technician to join our busy and friendly Science Team, providing essential support to teaching colleagues and pupils within the Science Department.  This role is pivotal to supporting the practical and technical aspects of our science curriculum in Years 12 and 13.  This involves managing others and preparing, providing, maintaining and organising the resources required to make sure all practical activities carried out are healthy, safe and secure.  A science based background, with a minimum of A Level Science, is essential.
