Job overview

We are a warm and welcoming academy, where students are placed at the heart of everything. There is an innovative focus on the development of learning and teaching, along with a wealth of exciting curriculum opportunities to ensure that students experience development outside of the classroom. 

Duties will include preparing materials and resources for lessons, setting up equipment for practical sessions and assisting teaching staff with practical and examination work.  Ordering and maintaining stock levels.  Planning for the longer term delivery of practicals where required.  Responsible for ensuring that all H&S protocols are adhered to in the Science Department at all times.This is an exciting opportunity to develop your lab skills.

It is essential you have:

• GCSE grades C or above in Science, English and Maths (or the equivalent).

• A levels (or equivalent) in Science.

• A degree in any discipline would be desireable.

• The ability to work under pressure and deal with a number of different situations in quick succession.

The position is full time, 37 hours per week.

We can offer a salary within the range of £18,000k-£20,000k per annum depending on experience and qualifications.
