Job overview

The Heys School wishes to appoint an enthusiastic, innovative and passionate Senior Science Technician. Applicants should be creative and forward thinking and have the drive and motivation to support the further development of the Science department and the school.

The main purpose of this role is to support the Science department, in all aspects of practical work and demonstrations. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a supportive, friendly and professional environment.

The ideal candidate will have good scientific knowledge and a keen interest in working in a busy school environment; a flexible approach and be willing to actively seek to develop own learning to enhance the service delivered.  You will be able to demonstrate a high level of commitment with excellent attendance and punctuality.

You will be joining a committed team of staff, who work with enthusiastic and positive students, who are keen to learn. The school is currently on a exciting journey as they work in partnership with The Rowan Learning Trust.
