Are you passionate about science and education? Do you have the skills and experience to lead a team and ensure the smooth running of a busy secondary school science department?
We are looking for a Senior Science Technician to join a dedicated team at Bow School. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced science technician or someone with a strong background in laboratory work to play a key role in supporting teaching and learning.
Key responsibilities will be:
· Managing the day-to-day running of the science laboratories, ensuring they are well-organised and fully equipped.
· Supervising and supporting the science technicians.
· Preparing materials, equipment, and chemicals for practical science lessons.
· Ensuring all health and safety regulations are followed, including risk assessments and safe storage of chemicals.
· Maintaining laboratory equipment and keeping stock levels up to date.
· Assisting teachers in delivering engaging and practical science lessons.
