Senior Strategic Lead (English and Creative Learning faculty) L2-6 Creative and ambitious? Primary or secondary trained? We need you to lead and strengthen our English and Creative Learning faculty. Already ‘Good with Outstanding Features’, our children love to learn and staff are dedicated and passionate about ‘Learning for Life’. Building on our existing strengths, you’ll take this team to outstanding and strengthen leadership and management.

This is the chance to use your creativity to implement new and innovative ways of teaching and learning. A strong leader, you will motivate and encourage staff. Together with our supportive group of parents and governors you will assist the school to become exceptional and we will support you in your ambitions.

We are looking for an inspirational leader with enthusiasm and imagination. You will work alongside a forward-thinking team to further enhance the provision for children ensuring every child receives an outstanding education.

We are seeking to appoint a Senior Strategic Lead who will also:

  • Have the ability to teach and lead the English department
  • Lead the faculty of Creative Learning (History/Geography, Music, PE, French, Art, DT and RE)
  • Work closely with the Assistant Headteacher to develop outstanding teaching
  • Use a range of assessment data to check progress and address underperformance
  • Inspire and engage our students and staff team
  • Demonstrate a range of creative teaching strategies and encourage active
    research across the school
  • Identify best practise, support colleagues and foster an open learning culture
  • Display strong leadership, negotiating and influencing skills

Windsor Park CE C Middle School is a mixed, non-selective, Christian middle school in Staffordshire, serving students from the age of 9-13. The middle school, situated in Uttoxeter has approximately 371 students on record.
