The Business Intelligence Systems team is at the heart of the college and you will be joining us to support the implementation plan of student management systems.  Transforming the way the business interacts with its students, employers and customers is key. This is a fast paced and forward thinking time for the team so you will need to be a dynamic and highly motivated individual, who can drive disciplined communication effectively across the business, in order to shape opinion and drive system change within the required timeframes.


The main responsibility will be developing, implementing and maintaining business systems which will include working with third-party suppliers and consultants.  Line managing the systems development staff to maximise outputs.  The role requires experience and knowledge of data warehousing techniques, BI & reporting services along with project management and planning and problem solving skills. A thorough understanding of relational database management systems alongside knowledge of SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS), Reporting Services (SSRS) & Integration Services (SSIS). Experience of developing and maintaining information systems using a change management & source control system (Visual Studio) and developing ETL, Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence solutions.


Applicants should possess a good level of education and any knowledge of education FE/HE student records systems would be an advantage but not essential.  ..
