There is an exciting opportunity to make a difference for children and young people with a hearing loss in Cornwall as part of our senior management team. We are looking for an experienced and appropriately qualified Teacher of the Deaf with a good knowledge of Hearing Impairment and experience of working with children and young people and their families in a range of settings. You will be able to demonstrate that you are a team player, with a successful record of supporting and mentoring colleagues.

As a member of the Senior Management Team within the Hearing Support Team, you will line manage a team of Teachers of the Deaf working in East Cornwall and you will lead on aspects of strategic service developments. These will evolve throughout your employment in Cornwall as the Hearing Support Team continues to develop in line with national and local initiatives. You will be based in the Liskeard office. If you have a passion for inclusion and excellent personal skills we will support you to develop significant expertise in developing your management skills.
