Are you passionate about empowering and enabling students to gain employment? We are looking for a personable, motivated Senior Teaching Aide to join our busy, vibrant College, to work within our Workstart provision, where our committed workforce is dedicated to empowering and enabling students to achieve sustained employment.
Senior Teaching Aides proactively support our students to develop employability skills, to access work placements, voluntary placements and enterprise groups. To develop their English and maths skills, and ultimately, to progress into employment. You will be required to lead sessions and prepare, plan and implement employability activities. You will also be required to ensure that an effective level of support and care is on offer to encourage and enable students to participate fully in work activities. If you have experience of working effectively with students with SEND or barriers to learning, and you have the drive and tenacity to establish networks with external stakeholders, we would love to hear from you.
